Lossless Join/Merge Sony AVCHD MTS Videos to Play on 1080p Plasma TV
If you have bought a Full 1080p Plasma TV, no matter Panasonic, Samsung , Vizio, Pioneer, or Sony, and got a Sony AVCHD camcorder like Sony HDR-TG5V, Sony HDR-TD10, Sony DSC-HX5V, Sony Alpha NEX-5, Sony NEX-VG10, Sony HDR-XR520V, Sony HDR-XR500V, etc with 1080p or 1080i AVCHD recording in 2011, you may like to connect your Sony Camcorder to Plasma TV for sharing precious videos at home, but before enjoying, you may like to join the related videos and create home movie for series.
The windows version of PMB (Picture Motion Browser) for Sony camcorders doesn’t work well, and there is rare satisfied AVCHD merging software on the market, after searched, I found a professional AVCHD Joiner, which can be used as Sony MTS Joiner for Plasma TV. With only three steps, the videos could be combined into one single file, keeping the original 16:9 aspect ratio, video format, video codec, bitrate, etc for HD playback on Plasma TV.
Now I will show you the quick guide to join Sony AVCHD videos to play on 1080p HD Plasma TV.
Step 1. Load Sony videos to Aunsoft Final Mate.
Connect Sony camcorder to PC with USB 2.0 cable, or use a card reader. Run Aunsoft Final Mate on Windows XP/Vista or Windows 7. Follow camcorder wizard included in Final Mate to easily capture and download AVCHD files from camcorder to the program. Or you can click on Browser button to locate your AVCHD file path and Final Mate will automatically show all Sony AVCHD MTS/M2TS files in Resource Tab.
Step 2. Join AVCHD files into one movie for Plasma TV.
Click the Add movie button, and a movie for lossless output will be created by default. Select the files you would like to join into one file from the Camcorder tab (imported from your camcorder) or Resource Tab (imported from your computer), drag and drop to the movie.
Step 3. Lossless merging MTS for Plasma TV without re-encoding.
Click the Export button. As there is no video for conversion, just click the OK button for lossless output. The lossless output will be finished in a few seconds or minutes. When the merging process is done, just put the videos to the Plasma HDTV SD memory card slot and enjoy the movie.
