Playback Merged Sony CX700V 1080/60P MTS Videos on Sony Blu-ray Player Without Recoding
As one of the hottest products from Sony Hanycam line in 2011, Sony HDR-CX700V offers Full HD 60p and 28Mbps recording, as well as a traditional 60i record mode. With the camcorder's 96GB of internal flash memory, you are able to record long-time high definition videos. If you have shot videos with your new Sony HDR- X700V for the special events like wedding receptions of your friends or relative, birthday party of your family, you may want to make some basic editing like merge, split/cut, or add background music, at the same time retain its original 1080/60p 28Mbps video quality at best.
This guide introduces how to merge/combine 1080/60p 28Mbps mts video files from Sony CX700V to one single file without transcoding and playback the merged video in your Blu-ray player.
Part 1. Join Sony CX700V 1080/60P AVCHD without re-encoding
As a new product introduced to camcorder software group, Aunsoft Final Mate highlights in its lossless output capability after merging/splitting 1080i, 1080p MTS/M2TS files. Final Mate also supports convert 1080/60p mts videos generated by CX700V to other friendly formats such as HD MP4, HD AVI, HD MKV, etc.
1. Capture/Import Sony CX700V AVCHD files to Aunsoft Final Mate.
There are two ways to import CX700V mts videos to Aunsoft Final Mate: you can directly capture/copy/extract 1080/60p MTS clips from CX700V to the program o you can browser mts videos from your computer.
- Capture Sony CX700V AVCHD videos from camcorder.
Connect CX700V camcorder to computer via USB cable, and then launch Aunsoft Final Mate. With built-in wizard, you can easily to capture mts video files from CX700 to the program. Select "Import" instead of Backup to quickly capture videos from camcorder. You can find imported videos under Camcorder tab in the main interface of Final Mate.

- Import Sony CX700V mts videos from computer.
If you have already backup all your video recordings from CX700v to your computer, you can browse your video path and the software will automatically show your AVCHD clips in Resource tab.
2. Merge CX700V 1080/60p mts videos.
After you successfully import Sony CX700V AVCHD MTS video clips to Final Mate, you can drag video files to Movies Tab. There will be a pop-out window shown as the screenshot below to confirm your purpose. Choose "Create A Single Movie" and all the MTS recordings will be merged as one single movie.

Note: If you want to merge mts files produced by Sony CX700V without any re-encoding, please make sure that basic parameters of your source files including resolution, frame rate is the same. Only in this way can Final Mate combine AVCHD clips into one AVCHD file without conversion. Take Sony CX700V for example, if you've recorded videos under the same mode, 1080/60p, 28Mbps, then generated mts files are of the same parameters and can be joined into one without quality loss.
If basic parameters of your source AVCHD files do not match, you are also able to join these clips but you have to convert combined movie to other format, for example MP4, AVI, MKV, etc.
3. Export joined/edited 1080/60p MTS without conversion.
Click the "Export" button and click the "OK" button to start merging the videos clips into one movie. Each movie on the program UI will be exported as one file on output folder. Just wait for a few minutes for the lossless re-wrapping without any loss in quality, and you will get joined AVCHD file generated by Sony Handycam HDR-CX700V.
Part 2. Playback Merged CX700V MTS Videos on Sony Blu-ray Player .
Latest version of Sony Blu-ray Ripper gives full support for 1080/60p 28mbps AVCHD videos. You can either playback merged mts videos stored on external hard drive on Blu-ray player via USB cable or author output mts file into Blu-ray Disc for playback.
